Elon Musk’s Story

His story is incredible, especially as it relates to failing!

This is the epitome of what I want to articulate about failing—that the more you fail, the more you succeed!

The video’s narrator says, “The higher that you set your sights, the more likely you are to fail repeatedly along the way. Which means an absolutely critical component of high achievement is dogged perseverance in the face of failure, and without a doubt, Elon Musk has failed more spectacularly and at a higher cost than anyone who will watch this video.”

He says, “fail spectacularly,” which are the exact words Rich Litvin often uses.

The higher the level your failing, the higher the level your succeeding.

The narrator continues, “People who achieve at a high level almost always view NOT doing something impactful as a much bigger risk than financial or social failure. It’s not that they don’t care about those things. It’s that not feeling like they are doing deeply meaningful work is far worse to them.”

Not making an impact on the world is a far greater risk than the impact from failing.

Remember Rebel Rule #1… I have decided to make an impact on the world NO MATTER WHAT!

Q&A with Rich Litvin

This is a great Question and Answer video with Rich Litvin from his The Prosperous Coach Facebook group.

In the video, Minor, my first coach, asks, “How can you determine the psychographics of a potential client if you haven’ had a clients yet,” and Rich suggests he completes the 6 Boxes Exercise.

The 6 Boxes Exercise is an assessment to help you draw out the qualities in your dream clients.

In addition to first mentioning this exercise, this video will offer you many insights.

Creating Clients With The Story Tool

In this video, Rich Litvin coaches Adam Quiney, helping to draw out his unique story.

Adam is married to Bay LaBlanc Quiney, whom we met in week 3 in the “Create” video.

Adam does an amazing job being coached—he’s very responsive, open, and in touch with himself, and as a results, he’s very coachable.

This call will absolutely get you thinking, and the purpose behind it is to help you find your authentic in order to tell your story in a way that gets your ideal clients excited.

The 6 Boxes Exercise is below, by the way.

Hot seat coaching: how to grow your practice, make referrals, step into your power, be yourself, create incredible clients, and date powerful men

This is an extraordinary group coaching call in which Rich Litvin coaches a five coaches who have applied to be on the call

Watch how he works his magic.

I love how he suggests we tell our clients who we are—how “we play” when it comes to coaching.

Keep Using The Powerful Questions

Focus on Inviting as well as Proposing

As we discussed, keep inviting. It’s the “One Thing,” the single most important action you can take to build your coaching business and become a world-class coach. And it’s the path to proposing because all coaching agreements take place in a conversation.

Ask For 1 Referral

Ask for one.

Tell someone you've coached or someone who knows you're doing big things...

“If there’s anyone in your world who you believe would benefit from a gift of my coaching session, you have the power to give that to them. That’s a gift from you. And that’s not something I give to everyone in the world.”

The 6 Boxes Exercise

You’ve heard about this exercise in the previous videos.

It will help you pull out the story that is both your history and the story that informs why your clients will want to work with you in the future.

This exercise will also help you get focused on the kind of clients you want to coach as well as help you attract them into your life...

Because you will attract, not what you want, but what you are...

And you'll learn what you are...

You are your dream client.

Download it HERE and do the best you can, understanding who you are and who you love coaching or would love to coach.
